Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff — $1,900

Our fee for the services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not necessarily limited to: responding to the initial request for service; conducting the arrangement conference with family or responsible party; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notices; and staff assistance prior to, during, and following the funeral, including coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral, such as cemetery, crematory, and others.

Also included in these charges are overhead expenses related to our facility, such as insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and equipment and inventory costs.

This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.

Embalming — $900

Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing.

If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

Direct Cremation — $1,650

Our charge for a direct cremation without any attendant rites or ceremonies includes removal and shelter of remains, alternative container, local transportation to the crematory, and necessary services of the funeral director, including filing of the death certificate and M.E. authorization.

Immediate Burial — $4,000

Burial in basic 20-gauge non-sealer casket within 72 hours of death. No embalming.

Additional Services and Merchandise

Removal from place of death within a 25-mile radius — $450
Additional miles over the 25-mile radius — $2.75 per mile
Other preparation of the body, including organ donor, trauma, or infectious disease cases — $300

Burial Packages

Packages do not include any cash advance items, such as funeral programs, obituaries, flowers, etc.

Traditional Package — $5,750

Includes:

• Choice of casket type shown below
• Traditional funeral service with family viewing
• Basic services of funeral director and staff, including filing all necessary authorizations, notifying Social Security, filing for the death certificate, and obtaining certified copies
• Transfer of remains to funeral home
• Embalming
• Other preparation of the body, including dressing and casketing
• Private family viewing
• 100 programs, one picture, standard bifold format
• Wake with two-hour limit on selected day
• Funeral coach with lead car in funeral procession within a 25-mile radius
