Vernon Alphonso Beatty, born in Kingston, Jamaica on June 2, 1963, to the late Oscar George Beatty Sr. and Daisy Lovena (Bruce) Beatty, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Preceded in death by his brother Winston and sister Claudette, Vernon was the fifth of nine children. In 1973, at the age of 10, he immigrated with his family to West Palm Beach, Florida, where they made their new home. They soon after moved to Rivera Beach, Florida where he attended public school. He later relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, in 1989.
Vernon pursued his education at Tampa Technical Institute in Florida, graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology in 1984. He further enhanced his skills by earning an MCSE from New Horizon Computer Learning Center.
Vernon embraced his faith in Jesus Christ at a young age and lived his life as a devoted follower. He deeply loved God and cherished the things of God. He believed that when you are baptized with the Holy Ghost that you are endued with power from Glory. Believing in the power of the Holy Spirit, he faced life's challenges with unwavering confidence in God's care. He looked forward to eternal rest in the arms of Jesus.
Vernon leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his brothers: Oscar Jr., Carlton (Lottie), Christopher (Miriam), Donald, and John; his sister, Alice; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
We remember our brother not only for his impact on our lives but also for the joy and love he shared as one of seven siblings. His memory will forever reside in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know him. Though he has left this world, his spirit endures through the cherished moments and loving memories we hold dear.
Rest in peace, dear brother. You will be profoundly missed yet eternally remembered.
Love Always
