Peter Williams a.k.a. Solomon Slow born August 22, 1946, in Mount James Saint Andrew to Samuel and Roselda Williams, who has predeceased him.
Peter is married to Barbara Chambers. He has 11 children (two predeceased) 25 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 stepchildren.
Peter grew up watching his father farm and he said he decided from an early age he was not able to work that hard. He then set about convincing his parents to send him to learn a trade. He got an apprenticeship at the state run National Water Commission where he worked until he migrated to the United States. He then worked for Goldwater Memorial Hospital in New York until he retired and moved to Georgia. During his apprenticeship, he met a lady Enid, that made him begin his journey into fatherhood.
Peter was charming funny and had an infectious personality that the ladies were usually drawn to. He could usually find a nickname for anyone he comes into contact with. He loved a pretty, round woman as he would call it. He loved his music, the louder the better. He loved to cook and watch people enjoy what he cooked and all of this with a liquor cup in his hands. He had a big heart and wholeheartedly loved his family. He also leaves to mourn 4 sisters, 5 brothers and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and coworkers.
