Idi Polus Harlequin, formerly of UU Bent Street, Georgetown, departed this life on January 12, 2026, in Atlanta,
Georgia, following a brief illness. Born on June 22, 1981, Idi was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. He
brought joy and light to everyone around him, and his enthusiasm for life was infectious.
Idi was the proud son of Patrick and Scheron Harlequin and the cherished brother of Allison, Paul, Lawrence,
Khaymia and Sarah. He graciously welcomed his sisters-in-law, Latoya and Malonie, into the family and was a
loving uncle to Kellyann, Kimberlisa, Anthony, Sasha, Joyann, Prisca, Skylar, Madison, and the late Phalana, as
well as a devoted great-uncle to Myesha. He held a special place in the hearts of his extended family, including
his aunts and uncles Cecil, Joy, Patsy, Roxanne, Lambert, Cleveland, John, Deborah, Seymone, Kim, Agrey,
Troy, and the cherished great-aunt and uncle, Lilleth and Wickliff Prince. Idi will also be missed by his adopted
network of aunts and uncles, including William, Wilbert, Wilson, Wilma, Carrol, Joy, Andre, Paton, Halvard,
Hasafa George of Quality Food’s Georgetown, all who embraced him as family. His cousin's relationships with
Errol, Clive, Nichola, Yonnett, Paulette, Rhonda, Kevin, Orlando, Ian, and many others enriched his life and
filled it with love.
Idi embraced life with passion, frequently creating cherished memories with family and friends. He adored the
island life, soaking in the beauty of nature and the warmth of community, leaving behind a legacy of laughter
and love.
Though Idi may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of all who knew
him. Let us come together to celebrate the remarkable life of a truly special individual.
