Ebi funeral Ige

    Ebi Brandie Ben-Dickson Owei – born September 20, 1959 in Lagos Nigeria at Island Maternity to Evelyn & Brandy Ben Dickson Owei. She attended various private schools growing up including St. Catherine for Primary School, Archeacon Crowther Memorial Girls School (ACMGS) for secondary school, and Holy Family College for her A- Levels. She then attended University of Lagos for her law degree and worked with the Vice President of Nigeria before coming to America for further studies. Once in the United States, her love of the law only grew as she received her master's degree from the University of California. 

     Ebi knew Christ early in life, you would always see her reading her bible, quoting scriptures, and would pray over you at any given moment. As a young adult she joined a gospel group called the Light Bearers where she served as a lead singer. Ebi had a heart of gold, anyone that knew her knew that she would give her last. Ebi will be remembered for her unconditional love, tenacity, and love of literature. 

     Ebi is preceded in death by her father (Brandy Ben Dickson - Owei), mother (Evelyn Owei), two older brothers (Brian & Maseya Owei . survived by her 4 children Brandon Ige (Ericka Ige) , Remi Ige, Gioia Ige, and Damilola Ige. She also leaves behind her sisters Bile Owei & Gloria Konugah, nieces, nephews, and granddaughter.
