Obituary

Tiffani Kristina Williams was born on November 28, 1984 in Atlanta, Georgia, to proud parents Basil & Donna Williams. She passed away tragically on March 27, 2022, leaving us distraught, in shock & disbelief.  She leaves behind her parents, Grandma Bessie, siblings: S'Heelia, Ashleigh, Courtnay, Amalia, Basil Jr. & Gordon, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, a stray cat named Charlie & a gazillion friends to mourn her.

Tiffani attended Dekalb School of the Arts, Hillel Academy & is a graduate of Georgia State University. Her pet peeve was, ahem, "tardiness", but she was late for everything! The last to arrive and the last to leave. She loved family & family gatherings, especially at her Mumsey's house; she would make sure that someone shared out a plate for her, as she knew she was going to be late, even though Mumsey lived less than a mile from home! Everyone knew she had arrived as her vibrant and outgoing personality lit up the room and you could hear her laugh from miles away!

Tiffani was a foodie, a kind, caring and passionate person who cared deeply about her community as well as social & political issues.  She even spent a New Year's Eve night, into the wee hours, putting up campaign signs during the last election.

Tiffani, though gone from this Earth, will live on in cherished memory by everyone who knew her. The huge attendance at the balloon release & candlelight vigil organized by her best friend since elementary school, LaTristian Williams (no they are not related, just sisters for life) in Lithonia Park, is a true testament to how many lives she touched and how loved she was. She never met a stranger!

We will honor her wish and lay her to rest her in Jamaica beside her beloved Mumsey. Now the two are cooking up a storm in Heaven!  We love & miss you. Sleep well little butterfly.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome for the Lucius Sanders Recreational Center

in honor of Tiffani's love for Lithonia.
