Our dear Mavis Robinson, age 87, passed away the morning of May 15, 2023. She was a loving mother of nine children, a doting grandmother to twenty eight grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She was born on December 13, 1935 in Clarendon, Jamaica to parents Roslyn and William Robinson. She grew up with siblings Iris, Myrtle, Gloria, and Joe.  She lived in Porus, Jamaica for many years before moving to the United States.  She was a skilled seamstress, cook, and baker. She attended Whitfield United Church of Porus and sang on the choir. She was an active member of the Mandeville Lion's Club.

She was a warm soul; always happy to share and lend a helping hand to those in need. She put her all into caring for her children and grandchildren-always going above and beyond to ensure their well-being. She will be profoundly missed by family and friends.
