Larry Hurl Williams, affectionately known as "Cookie by his

family and friends, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026, at

the age of 75. Born on February 16, 195l, in Amarillo, Texas, to

Hurl Dozie Williams and Ozella Lilian Williams, Larry lived a life

defined by love and hard work.

Larry was a man whose warm smile, generous heart, and

infectious sense of humor made everyone feel at home. His

wisdom, strength, and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on

everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Whether sharing stories, offering advice, or simply enjoying

time surrounded by family, he created memories that will be

treasured for generations.

He is survived by his wife, Ranona Williams, and eight children.

Tavisha Williams, Petra Telford, Ebony Jones, Mary Hicks,

Larritta Williams, Caven Williams, Rashad Williams, and Dyron

Williams. He found immense happiness in watching his family

grow and leaves behind a cherished legacy through his many

grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended

family members, and lifelong friends.

He is also survived by his loving sisters, Rose Marie Williams

and Beverly Diann Collier (Milton Collier), whose love and

support remained a constant throughout his life.

His life touched many people in different ways, and those who

knew and loved him carry their own memories.
