My mom was such a vibrant soul, she would light up any room she entered because of her out-of-this-world personality. She was always the life of the party and always fashioned a good time. My mom taught my brother and I the importance of being there for each other. Ever since I could remember she always told us "You are your brother's keeper". My mom displayed to us what a hard work ethic looked like and what it can get you. She was the hardest-working person I've ever met; she taught me what hustle was. Through my mom, my brother and I had the opportunity to experience what unconditional love felt like.
Whether it was coming to a basketball game of mine or an award ceremony for my brother, my mom always ensured that we knew that she was our biggest supporter.
She carried the title Mom with such pride and joy, she never had a dull moment talking about her two boys; she was truly, a proud mother.
Although my mom is no longer physically with us, I know that she is always in our hearts and she is the angel watching over me and my brother.
We love you so much Mom and words cannot describe how much we both miss you.
Love,
- Naheem & N'kai
