Elaine Dorothy Hewitt (nee Phillips) of College Park, GA, passed away on May 24, 2024 at the age of 76. She was born on July 16, 1947, in Kingston, Jamaica. She married Garth W. Hewitt on September 30, 1972.

She spent her younger years in Jamaica before relocating to the United States; living in New York, NY, before spending over 30 years in Chicago, IL and then settling in College Park, GA for retirement. Elaine enjoyed going to church and reading her bible.

Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Alma Phillips.  She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Garth Hewitt; daughter, Bridgett White (Mark) of San Antonio, TX; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Madison; brother, Joseph (Erica) of Toronto, Canada; nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.

Services will be held at Central Christian Church on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11 am. Interment will be held at Hillandale Memorial Gardens.
