Diana Blanche Mitchell, 60, of Roswell, Georgia departed this life on Monday, July 24, surrounded by her loving family and friends. On the beautiful day of November 24,1962, Diana's life journey began in Queens, New York surrounded by a large family and friends.

The legacy of Diana's life will continue through her loving family. Uplifting her memory are her two daughters who cared for her until her final rest, Nia Mitchell and Alina Mitchell, both of Atlanta, GA, six sisters; Diane West, Carolyn Baker-Goode (Patrick), Candice Mitchell (Richard), Hollie James (Allan), Shantel Bowman, LaMondi Dent and one brother, Archie Dent Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Diana is preceded in death by her father, the late Archie Dent and mother, the late Blanche "Tina" Mitchell as well as two siblings—Toni Dent and Linda Gang.

Wake services will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm for immediate family.

The Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am, Monday, August 7th at Mountainside Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3936 Rainbow Drive, Decatur, GA. The Pastor Oscar Sherrod will officiate. Repass to be held at Mountainside Seventh Day Adventist Church immediately following the service.
