Sapphire Faith Thomas

Sapphire was a brilliant young woman. She graduated from Tucker High School in 2016 and was set to graduate from Mercer University with her BS degree in Biology in May of 2020. During the Summer of 2019, Sapphire completed the Future Medical Scholars Fellowship Program at the University of Miami. While in college Sapphire worked at Ross, was a librarian at the Mercer Medical School Library and volunteered at the Hospital and at local schools with children. Sapphire was often heard saying that the children thought that she was their “big sister” and she often bought candy for them.
